I’m also a writer who particularly loves creative writing.
I’ve been into Hollywood and its pop culture for as long as I can remember.
But when I was introduced to K-dramas in secondary school by a friend who’d recommended the epic Jumong to me, my interest, or should I say, priority, changed BIG time. I was duly immersed in Jumong, duly sucked in, duly engaged, duly impressed with a kind of foreign traditional world I had never experienced before.
However, it wasn’t until a neighbor of mine, that same year, mistakenly gave me a DVD disc of City Hunter instead of the American series disc I had begged for (no complaints here), that I developed an obsession for K-Dramas and K-Pop. An obsession that quickly and gigantically grew to have no match.
With City Hunter, I saw the modern counterpart of K-dramas. And alas, the extremely good-looking, charismatic Lee Min-ho; the breathtaking apartments; riveting fashion; mushy romance, and infectious soundtracks just sealed the deal for me. The addiction came on, full force. And since then, I ate disc after disc, greedily, uncontrollably, obsessively.
That being said, remember how I said I particularly love creative writing? Well, I had badly needed to channel that love. And while then, I channeled it by writing stories and drama scripts in my schoolbooks, my obsession for K-pop and K-dramas deepened, and I just knew I needed an outlet. A way serious outlet to let out everything! I needed to channel the passion, the fire, the burning, the craze, the creative writing talents, and turn them into something more special.
Fatefully, I soon stumbled upon certain blogs that published Korean drama content such as this amazing one (I’m literally in awe of this amazingly talented girl’s descriptive power), and then I knew exactly what I had to do.
Blogging it was, I decided. Thus this blog was birthed.
And ever since then, my aim has been to entertain, resonate, empower, inspire, and heal with my blog.

So just a quickish navigation through my blog and what I do under each menu/category.
K-Drama/ K-Pop: Here is where I put up reviews of Korean drama/movies that I saw recently. I don’t review every single drama that I watch (not even if I wanted to😄). I just write reviews about the ones that I feel strongly about or feel like I have so much to say about (and with this, I mean whether it’s hearts-in-eye love, indifference, or pure dislike). Yup!
Fantasy, time travel, and sci-fi are just a turn-off for me when it comes to kdramas/movies so you would hardly, if at all, find reviews of such genres here. I just find romance, family dramas, and slice- of-life more true and organic to K-dramas and way less sloppy/confusing.
Here are the things I’m hell-bent on when on a mission to review:
1. Fantastic Acting (This one is just unforgivable otherwise).
2. Interesting Storyline/Plotting.
3. Sharp, witty, clever, deep, interesting, relatable, enlightening writing.
3. Scintillating Chemistry between leads.
4. Romance that kills with Butterflies. Literally🤗.
These ones are not do/die affairs. They are mostly to bless my eyes and ears on a steady 😚
1. Hot Leads (especially the leading men😋)
2. Ear-wormy, ear-croony, heart-touching, soul-bubbling soundtracks 🎶🎶
3. Hot Kiss Scenes/ Skinship🔥🤭🤭
My grading ranges from 10-100%. No K-drama/movie has yet to hit the 100% grade though😅. Keep up to see if that will ever happen!😉
Here, I also do reviews of recent awards, shows, or events in K-pop and pour out my feelings (whether of like/dislike) about a certain recently released K-pop album or song.
Hollywood/Pop: So because I’m too busy watching Korean dramas/movies, I hardly ever watch American stuff or any other stuff for that matter. Therefore, you’ll hardly find a review of Hollywood movies or series here. But! I promise if I ever stumble across anything strongly interesting and immersive enough from Hollywood (which they really do have a lot of when it comes to their series), I promise to rave about it here. I’m just too obsessed with K-dramas to see anything else. That’s my problem😅.
Meanwhile, you will find entertaining reviews of recent popular American award shows/events here. You’ll also find interesting reviews of recently released American Albums or Songs that I feel strongly about.
K-Pop/K-Drama: Oh, just loads of fun, engaging, immersive articles about K-dramas/K-Pop and their stars. They feature lots of input about my personal life too😅😅😅.
Hollywood/Pop: Same loads of fun, engaging, immersive articles; just that of Hollywood movies and American Celebrities. And inputs about my personal life too🤗.
K-Pop/K-Drama: This section is sometimes quite hot and salty. It contains my brutally unbiased opinion on recent happenings or controversies making rounds in the Korean Entertainment industry. I can be quite rude and nasty here. But I just like to pass a point across, especially one that no one seems to be mentioning!
Hollywood/Pop: Same hot and salty servings of my thoughts. Just of the controversies or juicy topics making rounds in La La Land.
Shameless Fangirling (The name speaks for itself!😅😅🤩🤩)
Hottie/Cuttie Crush: Well, this Fangirl here develops crushes quite easily, so this is where I parade all the hot and cute pictorials of my ever-changing objects of admiration!
Crushy Couple: This is for the couples that killed me with butterflies and made me feel so happy and warm while watching them in a drama/movie. Yikes… I’m such a hopeless romantic!❤
Scene Stealer: So whenever I’m watching a movie, listening to a song, watching a stage performance, or seeing a music video for the first time, one or two special person (s) always seem to capture my attention/momentarily blow me away. This section, right here, has been dedicated to the homage of such persons😘
I pretty much just upload all my fantastic short stories here.
Just a review of any popular novel that I felt strongly about.
